1) Hard-sided Crate:
Crate training gives your puppy their own space and can calm anxiety. We put crates in the whelping area as soon as the puppies can get out of the whelping box. The more the dogs associate the crate with a relaxed mindset, the more they’ll ultimately enjoy hanging out in there. If you put the puppy in the crate when they’re playing, then they’ll want to come back out and continue to play. But if you bring them in it when they’re calm, they will likely view it as a place of rest. Start by bringing them in for 10 minutes at a time and work your way up from there. Give the dog a treat after they go into
the Crate and incorporate the crate into fun games where the pup goes in and out of the open crate at their own will. Once you are ready to give your dog more time inside the crate, do it in small steps. If your puppy is anxious or pacing, give them a break from the crate.2) Crate Mat:
Your puppy will be comfy and cozy in their new den with a soft crate mat. Crate mats are authentically pleasing accessories that allow your pet to sleep in comfort and help with easier clean-up, especially if you have a messy puppy that likes to roll in the mud.
3) Soft Sided Travel Carrier:
Mesh sided carriers are soft and often collapsible, which can make them easier to transport and store when you don't need them. They also allow greater airflow and visibility for your puppy. We recommend using these for short car rides as a puppy may chew or scratch if they spend too much time in it.
4) Stairs:
Puppy growth plates aren’t closed until at least 12 months of age. Jumping, a hard landing, or an awkward leap can result in injury,
cause issues later, or result in long term damage. Additionally, puppies don’t have the benefit of muscle to cushion the impact of a jump, as adult dogs have. Please limit your puppies’ jumping in day-to-day activities, such as jumping on beds, over baby gates, and out of the car. Investing in their health now can help keep their bones and joints in optimal shape.
5) Dog Bed:
Like your mattress provides support for your body, a dogbed is engineered to deliver muscle and joint support for your puppy. It also provides their own space and can calm anxiety, much like the crate.
6) Stainless Steel Dog Dishes:
Stainless steel is durable, lightweight, and resistant to rust and scratches. It is the least likely to harbor pathogens that can make your dog sick.
